02.07.08 Happy New year to all of you! 2008 seems so new, but I still wish it was 2007 for some unkown reason. >.> . In Canada it snows 40 cm, and then it rains like crazy. Plodding around in my "waterproof" boots has given me frostbite on my feet and water in my shoes. The result is a headache. So, I might just be hibernating for the next couple of days. If you haven't noticed, new affiliates are going up by the day. This is because LW really needs new, active members since it is kind of dying right now. New skin coming up. :]
12.15.07 Merry Christmas Everyone! Or happy holidays, whatever you are celebrating. Notice that we have yet another awesome new skin up, called Happy Holidays. Hope you all luffs it. :] . I know, LW is seeming to be totally dead right now. This is because the roleplays arent' being kept up with, and because Raven's quite busy with appearance, and icons and all that stuff before she starts affiliating so the site will look it's best. Meanwhile, the best members can do is make new threads and stuff to help with the activity.

10.10.07 There is a new skin up! It's called the Wish Tree, and make sure you check it out. There will also be a new poll to vote in, and there will be several more new updates. 09.11.07 Just some real life stuff, today was the day that the famous Twin Towers in New York City collapsed after two jets crashed into them. I thought that would be a interesting thing to remind you guys. ^^ Also, some inactive threads, useless stuff, and things are going to be deleted, because now that LW has officially opened, we're on the job of advertising, and new members should be joining soon. Just to make a good first impression. As you've probably noticed, there is a new skin, called Misted Shroud, and it's a pretty good one of mine. 08.25.07 Long news updated in a long while. Thanks to Silas and me, the boards, and almost everything is practically done. I just have to work on the " inside Stuff" and perhaps a new skin too. Silas is on the job of affiliating and advertising. Hope that whoever comes will join, and members, more updates, plots, and fun competitions will be coming as soon as we have over 20 members. 07.06.07 LW is getting more developed by the minute! Our sub-boards are getting created, and we have so many new features availaible for you use. You can now pick from a much, much more advanced color picker that you will find right above every reply textarea. Choose you color BEFORE you type and then at the end highlight everything, and click on the SECOND little box. We also have some new fonts to use, just be sure that they can be read. Season:Mid-Winter Temp:- 17 Weather: Very cold. The winds are blowing high, and little bits of snow have harded to become like ice underfoot. It gets warmer around the afternoons. Snow comes very often but every time there isn't much. Prey:Average. Be sure to stock up on prey that are looking for the last of their food before hard winter comes! Water: Freezing. Although it isn't cold enough for them to be frozen, they are quite flooded, from the bits of snow that melt very fast into the water. It isn't a very good time to be swimming, as soon as you are drenched in cold water the wind will chill you even more. But water is fresh-tasting, the last of the fish are fighting their way upstream.
Little Wishes Oak Welcome to Little Wishes. This giant oak is the first thing you see when you enter our land. It measures over 4 meters in length, and about 500ft tall. It is called the Little Wishes Oak, and is where the Rules of the land is engraved around the trunk. You must come here first to read these, or else you are not accepted here. Gray Fenced Valley This is where LW's adoption center lies. This is where you can drop off unactive or unwanted characters that you don't want to rid. And you can come to adopt a new char that is already made by someone else. It is a simple, small flat valley with a good view yet a few conifers growing in clearings. The undergrowth is not very dense here. A river runs through for drinking water and constant prey are available.
The Eastern Part of LW. THe grass grows lush and long here, and the air is cool and crisp. Wolves love to roam here to spend some time in peace and with others, explore, and make friends. Many trees provide shade and coolness, and prey is lush around here, although the general mood is not to hunt. The ground is laden with dead grass, and ferns are plenty around here. Healers may wander here often to look for herbs.
The Northern Part of LW. Crags and cliffs of every shape and size rise from a thin undergrowth of mostly bracken. The extreme hieght of this place is very dangerous, so not many wolves wander here. Rogues, or loners tend to wander around here a lot, and some even make their own dens here. Pack members prefer to stay away from here, as it is very dangerous and cold. Despite the hieghts, some wolves come here to hide, be alone, or sharpen their fighting skills with another. Healers are found here often, looking for new herbs or berries to try.
The Western Part of LW. It is filled with thick, lush undergrowth and a blocking canopy of oaks, birches, conifers, and other trees. Pines seem to circle around this part or LW's land. Prey is high and best here, they enjoy the musty, damp forest and thick plants. It is a very good place for hiding, and giving birth to new young.
One of the most popular places for wolves to dwell, is the Southern Terrain of LW. It is covered mostly by forest, but also consists of several rivers and streams, lush undergrowth, and cliffs and crags. Large patches of marsh ground are also found here. This is a popular place for the hunting season.

Pack Territories
ShadowFrost The Shadowfrost pack is well feared by other packs and also respected. Elders tell tales of the winds that blow from the west and chill the pack hearts, every member is proud and sleek. The most common prey is caribou, or deer, but they also prey on eagles as well. They have good territory, a stream runs their border with Freezewind, and the camp is located deep into the pine-filled territory of ShadowFrost. Undergrowth is rare here, instead the floor is covered with large but soft pines needles. A thin but plentiful canop conceal most of the sky. ShadowFrost Camp, Devil's Oak, Misted Shroud
FreezeWind Known as one of the most strongest yet freindliest packs in the lands of LW, Freezewind has strong, lean warriors and stealthy hunters. Their territory ranges from three quaters of the forest. ending in their border with Shadowfrost. A small river flows through the forest, supplying the pack's water, and the lush canopy and dense undergrowth of the forest supply prey and places to hide. The Freezewind camp is located near the heart of the forest. Freezewind members are known to help others in need, but can be vicious and live without mercy. Ravenclan Ravenclan has perhaps the best territory out of all the for packs. Half of the forest, some long meadows and plains, and the river cover up their terrain. The forest provides a lot of prey, but the undergrowth is most dense here and can be hard to move in, although providing excellent hiding places. The meadows are long and often caribou come to graze here. This portion of The River is a carp-infested place, but they are huge and usually take two to four hunters and warriors to bring down. Ravenclan Camp, Whiteclaw Falls, Rabbit Mounds.

Tau'Kana Tau'Kana, the pack of LW with the largest amout of long, grassy meadows and plently of water. Three rivers run through their territory, two thing creeks, perfect for drinking water from, and a wide river, descended from Whiteclaw Falls, Ravenclan. Rolling acres of meadows cover up most of their territory, each more grassy and lush then the last. Caribou, elk, and deer are most popular here, and in the small forest that covers their territory peasants and squirrels like to roam in. The warriors of Tau'Kana are well-fed, strong, and fast.
